The Indian national team will leave the capital Delhi tomorrow evening and head to Bangalore on their way to the Maldives for an international friendly match.

Interims coach Armando Colaco expressed his happiness after the successful completion of the camp and said: “I am quite happy with the progress. It’s always hard to leave out a player, but I have taken the experienced side.”

“We have a new set-up with a mix of young and experienced players in the squad. We are sincerely working hard and its getting better day by day,” defender Gouramangi Moirangthem Singh to the media gathering.

“Everyone has given their best in the camp. The main thing is to support and cooperate with the coach in the best possible way,” he continued. “I believe everyone has successfully adapted to the new style of play. Most of the clubs in the I-League almost play in same form and it has helped the team immensely,” Mangi concluded.

Midfielder Steven Benedic Dias was once again all praise for the youngsters and feels they have risen to the occasion and proved their worth in the team.

“We need to give them the credit as they have done exceptionally well in the camp. They have great future and it will only help Indian football on the whole,” Steven said.
