The AFC Challenge Cup 2012 will kick-off on Thursday with Turkmenistan and Maldives facing each other in Group A. The official opening match will take place in the evening, when hosts Nepal take on Palestine at the Dashrath Stadium.

Ten matches will be played at the Dashrath Stadium, which happens to be the national stadium of Nepal. The Indian national team will clash with Tajikistan, Philippines and DPR Korea at the stadium, which is most popularly known as Dashrath Rangashala in Nepali.

The Dashrath Stadium was opened in 1956 and has a capacity of almost 18,000.

My friends at www.NepaliFootball.com have provided me a few pictures from the Dashrath Stadium.

www.NepaliFootball.com and www.chrispd.de will bring you all the latest action from Nepal throughout the AFC Challenge Cup 2012.

Enjoy the pictures and stay tuned for more multimedia content in the coming days!
