Loew has named a total of 27 players for the two upcoming preparation camps in Sardinia (May 11 to 18) and France (May 18 to 30). Gladbach Keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Schalke midfielder Julian Draxler have earned their first call-up to the Germany squad.

The German team is forced to go ahead without the players of German giants FC Bayern Munich for most of the preparation time due to Bayern’s participation in the UEFA Champions League final on May 19. The Bayern players are expected to join the Germany squad on May 25.
