I-League side Shillong Lajong FC and Kingfisher Premium launched a contest named “Kingfisher Premium – Be The One” in their aim to find an official club anthem two weeks ago.

The contest is still on and SLFC is seeking for YOUR entries to find an unique anthem for the club. Any musicians (bands and/or solo artists) interested to compose an club anthem may take part in the contest. The club anthem should be in English only and the contestants should compose, produce and sing the song according to the requirements of the “Kingfisher Premium – Be The One” contest.

The newly composed songs must be submitted to the club as a MP3-file via eMail (betheone@shillonglajong.com) or by mail to the Shillong Lajong FC office (Hotel Centre Point, Khyndailad, Shillong-793001, India).

The last date of entry for the “Kingfisher Premium – Be The One” contest will be January 3, 2013, while the winner will be announced at the sidelines of the SLFC v Dempo SC match on January 13. The winner of the contest will be awarded Rs. 1 Lakh and he will also get an opportunity to perform during the half-time show.
