Sporting Clube de Portugal B were held to a goalless draw by Atlético Clube de Portugal in a Liga Orangina (Liga de Honra) match on Sunday.

José Manuel Martins Dominguez’ team dominated the match but they couldn’t find the back of the net at the Estádio Municipal de Rio Maior.

The green-and-whites continued to keep the majority of possession in both halves of the match, but they failed to create any scoring opportunities.

Indian national team skipper Sunil Chhetri was seen warming up throughout the second half, but he didn’t get a chance to sweat it out on the pitch.

Sunil will leave Lisbon by the end of the new week to join the Indian national team for the international friendly match against Palestine at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kochi on February 6.
