The Football Association of Odisha has has successfully conducted the annual Coca-Cola Inter School Football Tournament at the Satyabrata Stadium, Cuttack on Wednesday. A total of 15 schools from Cuttack took part in the tournament which kicked-off at 7.30 in the morning.
The Raghunath Jew High School emerged as the champions with a 6-0 win against the Sayeed Seminary School in the final. Rashmi Ranajn Sahoo (18′), Sunil Nayak (23′), Besarat Khan (34′, 41′, 50′ & 58′) scored the goals for the new champions.
The other schools which participated in the Coca-Cola Inter School Football Tournament were the New Stewart School, P.M. Academy School, Bhakta Madhu Vidyapeetha, Christ Collegiate School, Secondary Board High School, Akruti Vidya Mandira, St. Xavier’s High School, Shisu Bharati School, Ranihat High School, Bidanasi High School, Khanangar High School, Municipalty High School and Sayeed Seminary Junior School.
Chief guest Asirbad Behera gave away the Winner’s Trophy and the Runners-Up Trophy. The other dignitaries who were present in the winner’s ceremony were Bijay Das, Bhakta Ballav Das, Ramesh Ch. Mallik (V.P-FAO), Avijit Paul, Bikram Keshari Mohapatra (Jt. Secy-FAO), M.A. Alam (Treasurer – FAO), Jugal Kishore Das (Dy Chairman – Referee Committee – FAO) and Satya Ranjan Mohanty (Treasurer – OCA).
