The Deportivo Saprissa U-23 team (Saprissa de Corazón) has reached the semifinal of the 117th “NVD” IFA Shield 2013 with a 3-1 win against United Sikkim FC on Tuesday.

The Costa Rican team kicked-off their campaign at the prestigious tournament with a goalless draw against Pune FC on Thursday, while they defeated Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan AC by a solitary goal scored by Walter Centeno Corea.

Walter Centeno Corea scored his second goal of the tournament against United Sikkim, as Diego Angulo and Alonso Solís Calderón scored the two other goals.
