Britain’s leading provider of five-a-side football facilities, Goals Soccer Centres, is delighted to announce they will become the headline sponsor of the Asian Football Awards 2013 (AFA) and tournament host of the inaugural ‘AFA Trophy’ Fives tournament.

The ‘AFA Trophy’ Fives is a tournament open to Asian players and teams and is designed to encourage, support and help develop talent at grassroots level within Asian communities throughout the UK.

Regional tournaments will take place across 22 Goals Soccer Centres throughout the UK in May and June, with a finals day taking place at Goals Gillette Corner in West London on Saturday 18th August.

The winner of the tournament will be rewarded with a training session by The Chelsea FC Foundation at their state of the art training facility in Cobham. In addition, they will enjoy a table at the prestigious Asian Football Awards, where they will be presented with The AFA Trophy, on Tuesday 8th October at Wembley Stadium.

The AFA event will be attended by some of the biggest names in football and will be hosted by Sky Sports News Presenter, Dharmesh Sheth and BBC Asian Network host, Noreen Khan.
