East Bengal’s AFC Cup quarterfinal draw on June 20

The draws for the AFC Champions League and AFC Cup 2013 Knock-out Stages will be held at the AFC House, Kuala Lumpur, on June 20.

The clubs who have qualified from Round of 16 will participate in two separate open draws to find out their opponents in the knockout stages of the AFC Champions League and AFC Cup 2013.

Kolkata giants East Bengal Club qualified to the AFC Cup quarterfinals with an impressive 5-1 win against Myanmar’s Yangon United FC in the pre-quarterfinals on May 15.

East Bengal are the first Indian team to reach the AFC Cup quarterfinals after Dempo SC advanced to the semifinals in 2008.

The eight clubs who have qualified for the 2013 AFC Champions League quarterfinals are:
Al Ahli (KSA)
Al Shabab (KSA)
Guangzhou Evergrande (CHN)
Esteghlal (IRN)
Kashiwa Reysol (JPN)
FC Seoul (KOR)
Lekhwiya (QAT)
Buriram United (THA)

The eight clubs who have qualified for the 2013 AFC Cup Quarterfinals are:
Kuwait SC (KUW)
Qadsia (KUW)
Al Faisaly (JOR)
Al Shorta (SYR)
East Bengal (IND)
New Radiant (MDV)
Semen Padang (IDN)
Kitchee (HKG)

The draw ceremony is scheduled to start at 15.00 lcoal time on June 20.
