Germany striker Mario Gomez will join Italy’s ACF Fiorentina on a €20m summer transfer from UEFA Champions League winners FC Bayern Munich.
Fiorentina will pay €16m immediately, while the Italians are expected to pay another €4m in the coming year according to German sources.
Gomez, who joined Bayern on a €30m transfer from VfB Stuttgart in 2009, will sign a four-year contract till 2017 at Fiorentina and he is reported to earn €4m per annum.
FC Bayern Munich have confirmed the deal on Monday and the contract will be signed in the coming days.
