FIFA likely to announce 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup host next week

The FIFA Executive Committee is likely to take a decision on the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup host next week as India hope to win the hosting rights for the prestigious youth tournament.

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) submitted its bid to host on Novemeber 14 and the football fraternity in the sub-continent is eagerly waiting for a positive news from the governing body of world football.

The FIFA Executive Committee will meet in the Brazilian city of Salvador de Bahia on December 4 and 5. The Agenda of the 29th FIFA Executive Committee meeting includes various topics like the FIFA Club World Cup Morocco 2013, the FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014, the preliminary competition systems for the Olympic Football Tournaments and several other key issues concerning the beautiful game.

The FIFA Executive Committee is also expected to take decisions on the hosts of the FIFA Tournaments and congress in 2016 and 2017 according to the agenda.

The announcement on the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup host would be most likely made on the final day (December 5) of the FIFA Executive Committee.
