Bhawanipore FC have won the 62nd Bordoloi Trophy after a 1-0 victory against Aizawl FC in the Final played on Thursday.
Fomer Indian international Manjit Singh scored the lone goal for the Kolkata side in the clash of two 2nd Division I-League teams. Manjit slotted home off a pass from Ayeni Bidemi Daniel in the 59th minute.
A total of ten teams took part in the Assam’s premier knockout tournament, which was played from December 30 to January 9.
