AIFF Referee's Seminar in Bangalore

Airtel I-League Chairman and Karnataka State Football Association (KSFA) President AR Khaleel inaugurated a brief AIFF Referee’s Seminar in Bangalore on Saturday.

Col. Goutam Kar (Head of Referees, All India Football Federation) spoke on ‘Polices and Practices’ adopted by FIFA/AIFF for the development of referees and improvment of the standard of referees in India.

Kar alongwith E. Krishnanarayana (General Secretary, KSFA), M.P. Swamy (Chairman, KSFA) besides other KSFA and Bangalore District Football Association (BDFA) officials attended the inaugural function.

The AIFF Head of Referees focused on grassroots referees, female referees, classification, training, assessment and grading of referees. He also stressed on the fitness aspect of referees.

Inayathulla Khan (Member, AIFF Referees Committee), M.S. Kirshanmurthy (Chairman Referees Committee of Karnataka) and M.R. Ranganath (Head of Referees Department of Karnataka) were present during the course of the seminar. Referees from other districts, former referees and footballers from Karnataka also attended the seminar.
