The Goa-India team will face Macau in the second semifinal of the Lusofonia Games Goa 2014 football tournament on Sunday.

Coach Francesco Neto’s team enter the semifinal with a win and a loss against Mozambique in the two-team Group B. Macau secured their spot in the final four with a 2-1 win against São Tomé and Príncipe on Thursday.

Macau coach Leung Sui Wing is expecting a tough encounter against the hosts tomorrow. “We know India is a much superior team but we will try our best to turn the tide in our favour in the semis,” Leung Sui Wing told.

The winner of the Goa-India v Macau match will face Mozambique in the final. Mozambique defeated Sri Lanka 1-0 in the first semifinal on Saturday.

The match will be played at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Fatorda and it is schelduled to kick-off at 19.00 IST (14.30 CET / 13.30 GMT). DD Sports will be broadcasting the semifinal LIVE.
