Bharat FC launched their three match-kits and announced their entire first-team line-up for the club’s inaugural season in the I-League at an elaborate ceremony on Friday, January 2.

Also on the occasion, Bharat FC announced Nivia as the club’s official apparel partner. Music composers Ajay-Atul were also present for the kit-launch. The duo announced that they would be composing the official Bharat FC anthem and will be performing it live at the club’s first game.

The Club will compete in their debut I-League season which kicks off on January 17, and play their first home match at the Balewadi stadium on January 24 against Dempo SC.

At Friday’s event, Bharat FC unveiled their home, away and third kit, with the players modelling the striking jerseys on the ramp. The home, away and the third kit have been labelled ‘Together, Forever and Triumphant’ in keeping with the club’s motto.

The home kit of Bharat FC is a rich shade of blue with the ‘peoples’ football’, an integral part of the Bharat FC club-crest, prominently displayed on the chest. The away kit has been designed in a striking combination of red and white, with the player huddle motif being used subtly. The third kit is entirely white with a blue and red band running across the chest. Red denotes passion and vitality while blue connotes truth and loyalty, values that are the keystones of Bharat FC.

Managing Director of Bharat FC, Amit Kalyani, said that a lot of contemplation and effort had gone into the design and production of the match-kits. “When we first started designing our jerseys, we did not want to have a run-of-the-mill design. We wanted something that was classy yet sporty. Another thing we concentrated on was selecting the right colours for every kit. A lot of work has gone in to the final design and we are happy with the result.”

“All our three kits are unique, visually striking and very comfortable to wear,” he said.

Kunal Agarwal, Director Bharat FC, said that the club had moved forward in decisive fashion and he was happy that it had managed to assemble a high quality back-room staff. “We are happy with the fact that we have gone from concept to reality in three months and have assembled a wonderful team. We plan to do a lot for the eco-system of football by providing a lot of nurturing to our young footballers by way of academies, youth development and grass root programs.”

“Work is already underway for our very own state-of-the-art training facility which will be at par with international levels. We sincerely hope that the people of Pune get behind this football revolution that Bharat FC is spearheading.”

Meanwhile one of India’s leading sports brand, Nivia will be Bharat FC’s official kit-partner for the 2014/15 I-League season. The company based out of Jalandhar is a renowned name in sports apparel and the tie-up will see Nivia produce all of Bharat FC’s match-kits, training kits and travel apparel.

Rajesh Kharabanda, Managing Director Nivia, said, “We at Nivia are very happy to have a tie-up with an exciting concept like Bharat FC, one that holds immense potential. Football is growing rapidly in India. Football apparel and accessories have always been Nivia’s forte and through Bharat FC we will get a great platform to exhibit our top-of-the-line products to a national audience.”

Celebrated music-composers, Ajay and Atul Gogawale were also present for Bharat FC’s kit launch. Ajay-Atul will be composing the club’s official anthem and the National Award winning pair said that the anthem was something very close their heart.

“Both of us have completed our schooling in Pune and composing a special anthem for a team owned by Punekars is indeed a very fulfilling project. Bharat FC is a very exciting project and the team looks quite strong.”

“We want to inject a lot of energy and passion into the anthem because we are sure that the same values will be the hallmarks of Bharat FC on the pitch,” said Atul Gogawale.
