Both teams will be really looking to kick start their season, as Sporting Clube de Goa take on Mumbai FC in Round 5 of the 2014-15 I-League at The Cooperage Stadium, Mumbai on Sunday. The kick-off time is 16.30 IST and the match will be broadcasted live on Ten Action.

Sporting Clube de Goa’s new signing Sandesh Jhingan has made the short trip to Mumbai. Midfielder Brandon Fernandes and Portuguese defender Miguel Garcia are also still waiting to make their debut for the Flaming Oranje.

Neither team has had the best of starts to the campaign, with Sporting Goa currently in tenth position with one point from three games. The Flaming Oranje drew their opening match with East Bengal Club and then lost out to Goan neighbours Dempo SC and Salgaocar FC.

Mumbai are currently bottom of the table having lost all of their three matches to Mohun Bagan AC, Shillong Lajong FC and Pune FC.

The danger man for Sporting Goa is the experienced Nigerian midfielder Ogba Kalu who has scored the clubs only goal in the campaign so far, while Mumbai will look to Brazilian striker Josimar Da Silva who has netted two goals in three games.

The two teams met in the recently held Federation Cup in Goa, where Mumbai edged to a solitary 1-0 victory.

The fixture has gained added interest as it is the first I-League match to be held at The Cooperage ground since the venue was refurbished, which includes a new artificial surface.
