India drop two spots in the latest FIFA World Ranking

The Indian national team has dropped to a new all-time low in the history of the FIFA World Ranking as Stephen Constantine and the boys prepare for the 2018 FIFA World Cup and 2019 AFC Asian Cup Preliminary Joint Qualification Round 1 first leg match against Nepal today.

India is now ranked 173rd in the world (35th in Asia) with 74 points. The Maldives (133rd) top the list of the best teams from the South Asian (SAFF) region ahead of Afghanistan (137th), Bangladesh (162nd), Pakistan (170th), India, Sri Lanka (174th), Nepal (180th) and Bhutan (209th).

2014 FIFA World Cup winners Germany (1770 points) remain top of the FIFA World Rankings, while Argentina, Colombia, Belgium and the Netherlands complete the Top 5.
