Romeo Fernandes called-up to Atlético Paranaense B team for State League game

Indian youngster Romeo Fernandes has earned his debut matchday call-up for Brazilian side Clube Atlético Paranaense.

Romeo will be part of a 23-member Atlético Paranaense B team, which will take on Nacional Atlético Clube at the very own Estádio Joaquim Américo Guimarães Stadium, commonly referred to as Arena da Baixada, in a Campeonato Paranaense encounter on Saturday.

The squad does also feature Gustavo Marmentini dos Santos who was part of the Delhi Dynamos FC team in the inaugural Hero Indian Super League (ISL) season.

The Campeonato Paranaense is the State League of the Brazilian state of Paraná, where teams from the state compete for the honours in their region. The league is ranked at 5th level of the Brazilian league system.

Nacional Atlético Clube play their national level football in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C (3rd Division).

The match is scheduled to kick-off at 18.30 local time in Brazil (3.30 IST on Sunday / 23.30 CET on Saturday / 22.30 GMT on Saturday).
