Sehnaj Singh and Sony Norde scored as Mohun Bagan AC overcame Sporting Clube de Goa 2-0 in the I-League at Barasat Stadium, Kolkata on Saturday. The match was goalless at half time.

Mohun Bagan took the lead midway through the second session when Sehnaj belted a stiff grounder from a 35-yard free kick which sailed under the Sporting Goa wall and flew into the corner of the net.

Mohun Bagan sealed victory twelve minutes from time when Sony used his electric pace to outrun his marker and smash the ball into the goal.

With this victory Mohun Bagan stays top of the table with 38 points from nineteen outings, while the Flaming Oranje remains on 20 points from the same number of games.

Sporting Goa will play Pune FC in the final round of the I-League next weekend, while Mohun Bagan will face Bengaluru FC.
