Trials in Mumbai for 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup bound India U-17 team

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) will conduct selection trials for the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup bound India U-17 national team. The trials will be open to players from Mumbai, Thane and Raigad District and it will be held at The Cooperage Ground from June 9 to 11, 2015. The trials will be supervised by AIFF appointed scouts.

Players born in 2000 are eligible to attend the trials which will be conducted on all three days from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. Players desiring to attend the trails will have to register with the Western India Football Association (WIFA).

The registration forms are available on www.wifa.in or you may download it here. Each player has to provide his original documents as age proof (Passport or Birth Certificate) and a photograph at the time of registration. The registration forms will also be available at the venue starting June 6.

Trials will also be conducted in other regions of Maharashtra and the details on those trials will be announced shortly.

“This is a great opportunity for the boys to get involved with the prestigious tournament. Our aim is to give equal opportunity to all players interested to participate in the trials,” said Souter Vaz, Hon. Secretary, WIFA.
