German champions FC Bayern Munich will be hosting Hamburger SV in the opening match of the 2015-16 Bundesliga season on August 14 (Friday).

The opening match of the 53rd Bundesliga season is scheduled to kick-off at Bayern’s home ground, the Allianz Arena, at 20.30 CET (0.00 IST). The match will be broadcasted live in Germany on national television ARD and pay TV channel Sky. Bundesliga fans in India will be able to watch the league on Star Sports.

The other fixtures of Matchday 1 will be Borussia Dortmund v Borussia Moenchengladbach, Bayer 04 Leverkusen v TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, VfL Wolfsburg v Eintracht Frankfurt, VfB Stuttgart v 1. FC Cologne, FC Augsburg v Hertha Berlin, SV Werder Bremen v FC Schalke 04, 1. FSV Mainz v FC Ingolstadt 04 and SV Darmstadt 98 v Hannover 96.

The Bundesliga 2 will kick-off on July 24 when MSV Duisburg and 1. FC Kaiserslautern clash in the season opener of the 2nd Division.
