The 2015-16 Bundesliga season will kick-off on August 14 when defending champions FC Bayern Munich host Hamburger SV in the opening match at the Allianz Arena.

The Bundesliga has launched a new TV series as part of its internalisation campaign to reach out to the global audience with a new teaser for the 2015-16 season launched by the German League.

The Bundesliga is “Germany’s most exciting export” (#mostexcitingexport) and one of the leading football leagues in the world. The German league offers top class football and it entertains up to 42,609 fans per game on average – the biggest average in world football and the second biggest average in global professional sport!

Football fans in India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Maldives will be able to watch the Bundesliga matches exclusively on Star India from the 2015-16 season onwards.
