Brazilian football legend Pelé arrived in Kolkata on Sunday on a one-week tour of India. He had visited the “City of Joy” more than 38 years ago when he faced Mohun Bagan with his team New York Cosmos.

Pelé will attend Atlético de Kolkata’s Press Conference on Monday before a meeting with students of the NSHM College in the afternoon.

Mohun Bagan AC will host the Brazilian at a function later in the evening, where he will meet the Mohun Bagan players that had played against Cosmos.

Atlético de Kolkata will host Pelé on Tuesday morning while the players and officials would get a chance to interact with the Brazilian. Pelé is also scheduled to attend Atlético de Kolkata’s Indian Super League (ISL) home game against Kerala Blasters FC in the evening.

Pelé will continue his India Tour on Wednesday when he heads to Delhi to attend the Subroto Cup 2015 Final on October 16.
