The India U-19 national team lost 0-3 against Kashima Antlers in the 2nd leg of the FAM-FRENZ Asia Champions Trophy 2015 semifinals at the Kashima Soccer Stadium in Kashima, Japan today (November 4, 2015).

Having drawn 1-1 in the 1st leg of the semifinals the Indian colts were knocked out of the tournament losing 1-4 to Kashima Antlers on aggregate.

Coming on the back of a five match undefeated streak the Indian team tested the defence of their Japanese opponents in the opening minutes. However Kashima Antlers took a solitary goal lead in the 26th minute.

As both teams tried to nullify each other, the Indian colts were awarded a brilliant opportunity to level proceedings in the 43rd minute when Shahbaaz released a delicious cross for the bombarding Suman Sarkar. The latter, however, failed to make contact with the ball and the opportunity went abegging.

Kashima Antlers doubled their lead in the 54th minute and shortly tripled their lead in the 65th minute to hand the Indian U-19 team a 0-3 defeat.
