The 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup bound India U-17 National Team will face the Odisha U-16 State Team in an exhibition match in Goa on Wednesday (April 27, 2016).

The Football Association of Odisha (FAO) has named a 18-member squad to face the India U-17 team. FAO conducted a preparatory camp for the Odisha U-16 State Team from March 28 to 30 in Cuttack where a total 61 players participated in the trials. 31 players were shortlisted for the second round of the camp which was held from April 11 onwards, while the final 18 players were named after the final camp.

The Odisha U-16 State Team will be coached by Suraj Thappa, an AFC C License Coach, when they take on the Nicolai Adam coached U-17 national team.
