7th FAO Grassroots Centre inaugurated in Sundargarh

The Football Association of Odisha (FAO) yesterday, July 22 launched their 7th Grassroots Centre in Kundukela (Sundargarh), which will see 30 girls being trained there regularly with Manjushree Patel being the coach of this latest Grassroots Centre.

Bhairav Singh Patel (BDO Sundargarh), was present as the Chief Guest in the inauguration ceremony while Johani Minz (HM Kundukela High School) and Mukunda Naik (HM Kundukela Primary School) were present as the Guests of Honour.

Other dignitaries who were present were Pardeep Naik (Treasurer – DAA Sundargarh) and Durga Prasad Swain (Development Officer – FA Odisha) besides grassroot coaches Seema Tirkey and Sanjukta Tirkey.

Further the Football Association of Odisha informed that the state of Odisha has been adjudged as the best state in implementing the Grassroots Development Program in India by the All India Football Federation.
