Mohammedan Sporting Club beat Mohun Bagan AC 1-0 to end their Kolkata Zonal Round campaign of the AIFF U-16 Youth League at Mohammedan Sporting Ground on Saturday.

Skipper Sovan Sen scored the all important goal in the 3rd minute which ultimately proved to be the winner.

Following this win Mohammedan SC finished the Kolkata Zonal Round on 18 points and now will wait for the decision of the complaint filed against United SC for fielding an ineligible player (Suraj Rajbanshi) in the Round 1 match.

After the match Jb. Iqbal Ahmed, MLA Hony. Football Secretary Mohammedan Sporting Club congratulated the team for this victory and gave Rs. 10000 as an incentive.
