FSDL’s ITB submission deadline for new Indian Super League teams closed

The ‘Invitation To Bid’ tender process for inclusion of new teams in the Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL) organised Indian Super League (ISL) comes to a close with the submission timeline ending at 5:00 pm, today.

FSDL appointed external validator EY will go through the bids evaluation procedurals over the coming week.

FSDL – a joint venture between IMG, Star India and Reliance plans to add one (01) to three (03) new teams in the Indian Super League in its fourth edition to be staged in year 2017-18. Indian Super League was established in India in year 2014 under the sanction of the All India Football Federation (AIFF).

Bids were invited from prospective team owners in respect of 10 cities ie Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Cuttack, Durgapur, Hyderabad, Jamshedpur, Kolkata, Ranchi, Siliguri and Thiruvananthapuram.
