India retain Rank 100 in latest FIFA World Ranking

The Indian national team has retained its 100th position in the May edition of the FIFA World Ranking along with Nicaragua and Kazakhstan.

India have 331 points which helped to defend their spot in the FIFA World Ranking Top 100. Stephen Constantine’s team remain in 11th position in the continential ranking of Asian (AFC) countries and 1st in the South Asian (SAFF) region. Maldives (156th), Afghanistan (158th), Bhutan (166th), Nepal (169th), Bangladesh (192nd), Sri Lanka (197th) and Pakistan (200th) complete the list from South Asia.

Meanwhile, Brazil (1st), Argentina (2nd) and Germany (3rd) retained their place at the top of the FIFA World Ranking, while Poland (10th) have managed to enter the Top 10 for the first time in the ranking’s history.

The next FIFA World Ranking will be published on July 6, 2017.
