From the west to east to south and now to north, Mission XI Million is reaching to all corners of the country with an MXIM seminar scheduled to be held in Sher-e-Kashmir Indoor Stadium in Srinagar on 18th July.

Despite there being recurring turbulence in Jammu and Kashmir, football has always managed to be the most popular sport in the valley. Honouring that same love for the beautiful game, Mission XI Million has invited more than 2000 schools from the entire state to attend the seminar and be part of the legacy programme of FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017.

Speaking about taking Mission XI Million to Jammu and Kashmir, Project Director of the Local Organising Committee, Joy Bhattacharjya said, “The passion for football in Kashmir is amazing. And it’s wonderful to see FIFA’s vision for the world’s most beautiful game reaching the beautiful state of Jammu and Kashmir through Mission XI Million”.

Mission XI Million aims at reaching out to 11 million children before the FIFA U-17 World Cup begins later this October. A Government of India and an All India Football Federation project, MXIM has already brought more than 5 million children in contact with football in 38 cities and 26 states.
