Manchester City begins the 2017-18 campaign with many reasons to be excited. The club’s third kit, which will be worn during European play, incorporates a contemporary dazzle camo of deep greens complemented by flashes of City Blue. These details not only bring a vibrant pop of color to the shirt, socks (the club’s nickname “CITY” appears on the calf and back hem of the jersey) and shorts, but also creates a clear link to Manchester City’s proud identity, with this shade of blue having been synonymous with the club since its formation in 1894.

Reflecting Nike and Manchester City’s shared pursuit of footballing brilliance, Nike AeroSwift, Nike’s most advanced apparel technology, is employed for all the club’s kits. The AeroSwift design process creates a lightweight product and facilitates performance at the highest level. The resulting kits are 10% lighter and dry 25% faster than previous Nike kits, with 50% more stretch.

Every part of the kit is fine-tuned for the athlete to operate at top speed, with geometric knit zones that enhance fit and comfort, ventilation stripes that expand to reveal a flash of electric blue when the player is in motion, and socks with NikeGRIP technology that provides the ultimate foot-to-boot connection.
