35 teams will take part in the 23rd edition of the Classic Cup 2017 starting from November 2 until 20 to be played under the theme “creating a better world through football” at the local ground in Kohima, Nagaland.
The champion will walk home with Rs. 150,000 and runners-up Rs. 80,000 and besides individuals cash prizes.
The tournament will be formally inaugurated by Linda Solo, Director Youth Resources and Sports on November 2 at 2pm.
The lung opening match will be played between Kohima College and Capital College of Higher Education.
