Chennaiyin FC’s U-13 team cruised to an astonishing 7-0 victory against a hapless Chennai City FC side in an U-13 Youth League match at the Gateway International School Ground on Sunday.

After having beaten RV Soccer School 5-1 in their previous outing, this was yet another goalfest for CFC, who led by a whopping 6-0 scoreline at half-time, courtesy a double from Caron Kennedy and one goal apiece from Allen Raj, P. Kuganeshwaran, S. Abhilash and K. Surya.

Dressed in their all-white away kit, Chennaiyin FC put up a formidable display in all areas of the pitch, with K. Rahul adding to the scoreline in the second period, making it 7-0. Such a dominant performance resulting in a resounding victory meant the U13 boys have now made it three wins out of three this season, having also beaten Football Plus 2-0 in their opening match.

The CFC U-13s will look to do more of the same and complete the double over RV Soccer School, whom they face at the Maharishi Vidya Mandir (MVM) Ground in a second consecutive away game, on December 16.
