Deutsches Fußballmuseum to host DFB-Pokal quarterfinal draw on Sunday

The Deutsches Fußballmuseum (German Football Museum) will once again host the draw ceremony for the DFB-Pokal (German Cup), as representatives of the qualified teams gather in Dortmund on Sunday to find out their quarterfinal opponents.

1. FSV Mainz 05, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Eintracht Frankfurt, FC Bayern Munich, FC Schalke 04, SC Paderborn 07, SV Werder Bremen and VfL Wolfsburg will be in the draw pot for the Men’s Competition.

The draw pot for the Women’s Competition will feature 1. FFC Frankfurt, 1. FC Saarbrücken, FC Bayern Munich, SC Sand, SGS Essen, Turbine Potsdam and the winners of the postponed matches 1899 Hoffenheim v SC Freiburg (Feb. 2) and BV Cloppenburg v VfL Wolfsburg (Feb. 11).

The draw will be carried out by Oliver Roggisch, Team Manager of the German handball national team and it will be broadcasted live on German national tv channel ARD in their show Sportschau with Jessy Wellmer hosting the broadcast.

The Men’s Quarterfinal matches are scheduled to take place on February 6 and 7, while the Women’s Quarterfinals will be played on March 14.
