The Deutsches Fußballmuseum (German Football Museum) hosted the draw ceremony for the DFB-Pokal (German Cup) quarterfinals (men’s & women’s competitions) on Sunday evening.

The draw was carried out by Oliver Roggisch, Team Manager of the German handball national team and Horst Hrubesch, Director of Sports of the DFB (German FA).

Record champions Bayern Munich have to travel to 3rd Division (3. Liga) side SC Paderborn, while in Bundesliga match-ups Eintracht Frankfurt host 1.FSV Mainz 05 in a derby, Bayer 04 Leverkusen face SV Werder Bremen and FC Schalke 04 will take on VfL Wolfsburg.

Meanwhile, the Women’s DFB-Pokal will see a clash of two giants of the women’s game, when record champions 1. FFC Frankfurt play host to Turbine Potsdam. Last year’s runners-up SC Sand will face the winner of the postponed game between Bundesliga 2 side BV Cloppenburg and defending champions VfL Wolfsburg.

The draw was broadcasted live on German national tv channel ARD in their show Sportschau with Jessy Wellmer hosting the broadcast.
