Shree Nagesh Maharudra Sports Club blanked Batim Youth Club 9-0 in a GFA Third Division League (Ilhas Zone) match played at Agassaim ground, on Tuesday.

Both the teams started the match on equal footings however Shree Nagesh SC got on top of the game soon enough and constantly attacked the rival citadel until the found the breakthrough in the 35th minute through Sandesh Kunkolkar.

Shree Nagesh SC didn’t stop there and soon doubled the lead in the 38th minute as Mayur Vernekar after receiving a ball from his teammate slammed the ball past the Batim YC keeper.

The halftime scores read 2-0 in favour of Shree Nagesh SC.

Post resumption, Shree Nagesh SC came back stronger and began where they had left and scored yet another after Sharan Adkonkar sent in a beautiful cross to Mayur who swept the ball home to make it 3-0 in the 48th minute.

Batim YC tried their level best to get back into the game but couldn’t get past the rival defence, Shree Nagesh however went on and scored yet again through Mayur who completed his hat-trick in the 52nd minute.

Batim YC struggled to hold their defence together conceded again as Pramanand Kundaikar made his way past the rival defenders before slotting the ball home.

Soon afterward, Yogesh Mashelkar netted two quick goals for Shee Nagesh taking the tally to 7-0.

Jeetendra Kunkolkar then netted for Shee Nagesh before Pramanand Kundaikar drove the final nail into the coffin to make it 9-0 at full-time.
