The German Bundesliga has won various China Digital Football Awards as part of the 7th Annual Red Card Report which is released by the Mailman Group, one of China’s leading digital sports consultancy firms.
The Mailman Group analysed the activities of European leagues and clubs to find out the most digitally influential clubs, most successful leagues and most popular players in the Chinese market.
A committee of Chinese industry experts awarded the winners in the different categories the China Digital Football Award.
The Bundesliga has been crowned the „Number One League“ in the Chinese online media for the fourth year in a row, while Manchester United („Number One Club“) and Lionel Messi („Number One Player“) claimed the two other top categories.
Borussia Dortmund („Best Live Stream“), FC Bayern Munich („Best Use of Technology“ and „Best Tour Campaign“), Arsenal („Best Sponsor Activation“) and Bundesliga („Best Online Campaign“) are the winners in the other categories.
