An AIFF Grassroots Leaders Course was held by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) in association with Indian Super League franchise FC Goa and their Forca Goa Foundation at the Fr Agnel Ashram College Ground in Verna.

24 grassroots coaches from across Goa participated in the three-day course conducted by AIFF Instructors Gavin Araujo and Anju Turembekar.

The participants were selected based on their playing experience and their involvement with grassroots football.

The course was designed to tutor participants in the AIFF’s Grassroots philosophy which is in tune with FIFA and AFC’s Grassroots philosophy.

Through practical and theory sessions, attendees understood the importance of Grassroots football and how to develop children during training.
