Seven players from Odisha called-up to India U-17 Women’s team

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has called up seven players from Odisha to the India U-17 Women’s national team camp scheduled to take place in New Delhi from July 1 to 15, 2018.

Sarita Soreng, Eva Panna, Janaki Murmu, Shanthi Murmu, Susmita Tanty, Banya Kabiraj and Jasoda Muna will join the other nominated players at the training camp, which will be part of the Indian U-17 Women’s national team’s preparations for the upcoming 2018 BRICS Games. The BRICS Games will be played in Johannesburg, South Africa from July 17 to 22, 2018.

The players from Odisha have been selected by the AIFF during a selection trial at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on June 8 and 9.
