The final group game of the LG Independence Cup ended in a 1-1 draw between Mizoram Police FC and Jamshedpur FC Reserves on Wednesday evening.

Jamshedpur FC Reserves had taken an early lead through Mohammed Firoz Khan but they could not hold onto their slender advantage as Mizoram Police FC equalised in the second half from an own goal by Vijay Kumar.

Mizoram Police FC will now face Aizawl FC in the first semifinal on Friday evening while Jamshedpur FC will journey home after collecting two points from four games.
