Indian Super League franchise NorthEast United FC today announced the signing of young Uruguay forward Juan Cruz Mascia for the 2018/19 season.

24 year old Montevideo-born Juan Cruz Mascia Paysée started his football locally with Miramar Misiones, where he also made his professional debut.

He moved to Club Nacional de Football Montevideo in 2012 and stayed five seasons with the club with a loan spell at Montevideo Wanderers in 2015. Thereafter he played for El Tanque Sisley and Plaza Colonia.

Now Juan Cruz Mascia, who has played 10 times for the Uruguay Under-17s, moves out of his country for the first-time to move to India to play for NorthEast United FC in ISL – Season 5.
