Jamshedpur FC started dominating from the get go and were creating chances aplenty. Winger Carlos Calvo was in the thick of things and tested the Mostoles Balompie goalkeeper as early as in the 14th minute. He then delivered a cross to Cahill who headed it straight at the goalkeeper.

In the 35th minute, Mario Arques went for the jugular and attempted a shot on goal from 40 yards. The ball went past the goalkeeper but hit the crossbar. It was goalless at the break with Jamshedpur FC enjoying majority of the possession.

Cesar Ferrando made eight changes in the second half with the man of the match, Gourav Mukhi making his way in. The youngster struck first in the 68th minute, latching onto a fine pass from Bikash Jairu. Mukhi made it 2-0 just after 120 seconds as the striker came up with a piece of magic.

Mukhi wriggled past two defenders and smashed home Jamshedpur FC’s second goal of the match. The Indian side were in cruise control for the second half as Tiri then confirmed the win by scoring the side’s third goal. The captain got at the end of Vishal Das‘ cross to complete a rout against their Spanish counterparts.
