Indian Super League side Bengaluru FC announced a year-long association with WeWork as the club’s community partner, the Blues announced on Thursday.

The association will see both Bengaluru FC and WeWork collaborate on a host of activities that bring the football and workspace communities together.

“We’re excited to partner with WeWork for the coming season. Like Bengaluru FC, WeWork is also about creating a close-knit community and ours is a partnership that will involve plenty of interesting and fun aspects in the coming months ahead,” said Mustafa Ghouse, COO, Bengaluru FC.

The association is WeWork’s first with any sport entity in India, and aims at an eventual collaboration with ‘BFC Cares’, Bengaluru FC’s CSR program that aims at community development through sport.

“WeWork is delighted to partner with the amazing Bengaluru Football Club. Football as a sport, and football clubs, are highly community driven, just as we at WeWork are. Whenever BFC steps out on the field, it brings together the community of football fans from all over the town. Likewise, when we first started out, our intention was to build a community wherein every individual can work in tandem with each other and foster the spirit of collaboration.

We identify with this collaborative concept of the sport, and this partnership with BFC further reaffirms our commitment towards building up a strong local community,” said Karan Virwani, CWeO, WeWork India.

Bengaluru FC begin their Indian Super League campaign with a clash against Chennaiyin FC at the Kanteerava Stadium, on Sunday, September 30th.
