India drops a spot in latest FIFA World Ranking

The Indian national team has dropped a spot in the latest FIFA World Ranking released today.

India is now ranked 167th in the world and 31st in Asia. Wim Koevermans’ team is flanked by Vanuatu (166th) and Mauritania (168th).

The Maldives (159th) remain the strongest team from the South Asian region ahead of India and Bangladesh (169th).

World and European Champions Spain have kept their spot at the top of the FIFA World Ranking. Germany (2nd), Argentina (3rd), England (4th) and Italy (5th) complete the “Top 5”.
