German international and Borussia Dortmund star Mario Götze will join arch-rivals FC Bayern Munich on a spectacular €37m transfer at the end of the season according to an exclusive report by BILD newspaper.

The 20 year old attacking midfielder had recently extended his contract with Dortmund until 2016. But the contract had a €37m transfer clause, which Bayern is willing to pay.

Götze is expected to earn €7m per year at Bayern according to the report.

The transfer is yet to be officially confirmed and one shouldn’t expect any statements from the two clubs before their Bundesliga clash on May 4.
