Team India at the 2013 Homeless World Cup

The Indian team finished its 2013 Homeless World Cup campaign in the Polish city of Poznan with their final match against the Philippines today.

India lost the 5th/6th Place Match in the “The Ministry of Labour Cup” category to finish 30th amongst all the 46 participating nations.

The members of Team India were once again represented by “Slum Soccer”, a project by Krida Vikas Sanstha Nagpur (KVSN). “Slum Soccer” offers much needed sporting opportunities and personal development programs to disadvantaged young people across the country.
