ASD Cape Town star Brandon Fernandes is currently in Goa to take part in the Lusofonia Games Goa 2014 scheduled to start today.

The Indian yougster is the most prominent name in the Goa-India squad [+ full squad list] to participate in the football competition of the multinational multi-sport event organized by the ACOLOP – Associação dos Comités Olímpicos de Língua Oficial Portuguesa (Association of the Portuguese Speaking Olympic Committees), which involves athletes from Portugal and its former territories.

India will be represented in the Lusofonia Games by its former Portuguese province Goa. The Lusofonia Games will be held for the first time in India and it will be hosted in various venues around Goa.

Brandon is lookig forward to the tournament and to show his football skills infront of Indian football fans and Indian senior national team coach Wim Koevermans.
