The All India Football Federation (AIFF) Elite Academy boys won by a lopsided tennis score line against the Dempo SC U-20 team in a friendly match played at the Cuncolim Football Ground.

Striker Sheikh Faiaz scored an early first half brace while Isaac Vanmalsawma, Germanpreet Singh, Daniel Lalhlimpuia and Naro Hari Shreshtha also got on the scoresheet.

The AIFF Elite Academy boys led 4-0 at half-time. After the break, the Dempo SC U-20 side pulled one back but two more goals from the AIFF boys put the match to bed.

Faiaz could have bagged a hat-trick had his 30th minute effort not cannoned back off the post with no one to follow it up.
