MAN has renewed its successful cooperation with FC Bayern Munich until the year 2016. The partnership entails a deeper involvement with both the professional footballers and the basketball team at FC Bayern. In Germany, both teams are clearly top of their leagues. Having won the treble and the World Cup in 2013, FC Bayern is the best football team in the world.

As well as advertising in the Allianz Arena and Audi Dome, each cooperation agreement – with the football club since 2008 and the basketball club since 2011 – notably includes joint initiatives with the sportsmen. These are essentially aimed at bringing the team-bus myth to life for the fans.

The partnership focuses primarily on the team bus used to drive FC Bayern’s professional footballers to their matches. The 13.8-meter long MAN Lion’s Coach L Supreme with 480 hp is a high-quality, custom-built vehicle with everything on board that a player’s heart desires. The so-called “mia san mia“ (“we are who we are”) express offers the team maximum comfort and therefore the best prerequisites for continuing to make a noteworthy impact as number one.

MAN is the world’s premium supplier for this top sport. Twelve football teams in the German Bundesliga travel in MAN vehicles. Added to this, buses bearing the MAN and NEOPLAN brands transport numerous top clubs in Europe and Latin America to their stadiums, such as Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan and FC Barcelona. Brazilian stars also travel with the company’s buses, including the national team and fifteen teams in Brazil’s first division.
