I-League side Dempo SC have announced the contract extension of forward Tolgay Ozbey and Afghan international Haroon Amiri for one more year.

Commenting on his contract renewal Tolgay said “I’m very delighted to have signed for next season; I enjoyed my 4 months at dempo very much and cannot wait for the start of the new season.”
Afghanistan’s national team captain Haroon Amiri has also extended his contract with the golden eagles after an impressive stint in the I-League. Commenting on his resigning for the club Amiri said “I am glad to stay here for another season, as I am enjoying my time here at Dempo SC. I definitely have improved as a player over the past 4 months under the guidance of Mr Papas and rest of the staff. I hope to improve from last season, and contribute towards the club picking up some silverware in the coming season”
Dempo head coach Arthur papas was pleased to have signed the duo and added “As a club we are very pleased to have re-signed both Tolgay Ozbey and Haroon Amiri. It was evident that both were instrumental in our resurgence last season and by re-signing both of them we move a step closer to completing our squad for season 2014/15. Without doubt Tolgay and Amiri will continue to influence our group positively, add much needed stability & continue to entertain our fans in the way they did last season”.
